Water on for Testing
How do I turn the water on to the backflow device so you can test it and not get water in the irrigation system?
Close the valves on your backflow device. Now you can go inside and turn on the water to your irrigation system. Now I can test your device and not get water in your irrigation system. This way you do not need to get your system winterized. When I am done testing your device, turn the water off in your basement and drain the water out of the line that goes out to the backflow device.
