- Close the valves on your backflow device.
- Now you can go inside and turn on the water to your irrigation system.
Now I can test your device and not get water in your irrigation system. This way you do not need to get your system winterized. When I am done testing your device, turn the water off in your basement and drain the water out of the line that goes out to the backflow device.
